And if you are going to place it on a metal door or window, you don't need the complete kit, as the internal magnet is not necessary, as is my case. Great product. What you expect for the price. Bit tricky to install neatly, but looks great. Few things i have found helpful. Mesh comes folded so a warm iron can help flatten it out. Take some time to square up the mesh so it isnt installed on an angle i did this by ordering bigger than the window and trimming to size. Take the time to tighten the mesh as you are sticking it to the magnet so it stays flat and doesn't move in the wind.

Installation is not that easy, especially making sure the mesh is well tensioned; it's better to practice on a small window first. The system looks very nice and the mesh does not obstruct visibility.
